Important English language update considerations by NMC

Council to consider two important proposals

The Council will consider two very important proposals in its meeting scheduled for 28th September 2022. These proposals, if accepted, will be a big thumbs-up for international nurses dreaming to work in the UK.

What are the two, life-changing proposals put forward?

1) The clubbing score period may be changed from the current 6 months to 12 months. This means nurses can now write and club their best scores, in one year. So they get more time to prepare and give their next best try for OET or IELTS.

2) Employer will be able to give supporting evidence of language proficiency.

Having said this, let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
